Wau Wau Muh und was machst du?

A new day on the farm begins and all animals wait to be fed by the players – but only one after the other. While a task card states which animal is to be fed next, players on their turn get to reveal one of the face-down motif tiles in the hopes of matching the current task. If they don’t find the correct tile, they turn the revealed tile back face-down. But if they match the task, they get to feed the depicted animal by sticking the motif tile with the animal food into the matching slit of the “farmyard” (set up in the game box) – and while doing so they should imitate the corresponding animal sound. Then a new task is revealed. Once all tasks are fulfilled, the player who fed most animals wins. Wau Wau Muh und was machst du? Is a fun memory game for children that allows them to get to know farm animals and sounds they make along the way.

Timmy macht Urlaub

Although he should have packed for his holidays by now, Timmy did not even start packing but played carelessly and now his room is in a clutter. His parents don’t need to find out, though, because the players are here to collectively help Timmy load all his things onto him – but don’t drop anything and alarm the parents! On a turn, the active player rolls the die and adds one item of the corresponding color to the Timmy figure (set up in the game box). If at any point an item falls down or touches the ground, all players lose. If they manage to pile all items onto Timmy without dropping anything, they win and Timmy can set off on his holiday. Timmy macht Urlaub is a quick, cooperative dexterity game – small enough to join kids on their holiday, tough enough to challenge even their parents.

Langland Rommé

In Langland Romméchildren from the age 4 and up get to know the basics of one of the most beloved card game classics ever - without card values! Instead, players try to add farm animals (cow, pig, cat, sheep, and goat) to their display. To play an animal it has to consist at least of two cards: head and tail; but it can be extended – right away or later on – by as many belly cards as the player can gather. Each player has their own playing area to collect their animals – it is not allowed to play cards into another player’s area. The first player to get rid of all their cards, wins the game. Langland Romméis the easy access into one of the most popular card games around. With only two cards as a requirement to start their display, all players quickly get a sense of achievement and enjoy letting their farm animals grow through the course of the game. Additionally, frameless cards with cute artwork allow them to enjoy their collection of absurdly long farm animals even more.

Flies are swirling all around the pond: a feast for the hungry frogs – if just the hungry stork with a taste for frogs wasn’t nearby! In Sei kein Frosch! The pond is represented by 9 water lily cards with facedown adjacent cards that can either show tasty flies or the nasty stork. On a turn, the player rolls the color die and jumps to the next water lily of the color they rolled. Along the way all leaped cards are revealed. If a frog reaches their water lily without revealing a stork, they can even choose to continue; once they end their turn, they get all revealed flies. If they reveal a stork at any point, their turn ends and they get no flies at all. When the seventh stork is revealed the game ends and the player who caught most flies, wins. Sei kein Frosch! is a quick, straightforward push-your-luck game. A funny theme, cute illustrations and exciting turns make the frog’s fly hunt enjoyable for children and their parents alike.

In Manic Monkeys, each turn children roll the die to reveal a tile from one of five categories, which they have to re-enact: Making gestures with their arms or hands, making animal sounds or imitating the noise of common objects or pulling faces. After they did so, the tile is turned upside down in the middle of the table. Now, each following player has to re-enact all previous tiles from memory in the right order before acting out their own tile. Players who cannot remember the actions or their order drop out of the round. Whoever is the last player left, wins the game.
Manic Monkeys combines silly fun with an increasingly demanding memory challenge into an equally exciting and hilarious game for mnemonists-to-be.

Pop! … Bang! … Somebody did not think things through when planning a balloon party for all animals and inviting Peggy the porcupine. In Peggy Porcupine each player owns some of the balloon cards of different values set up in a circle in the middle of the table. Happy-go-lucky Peggy wants to say “Hi” to all her friends, so each turn a die roll determines how many steps of the circle she takes. Wherever she stops, balloons burst and the card at her location is discarded upside down in the middle of the circle. To make this party even more turbulent, Peggy can change directions and players have the chance to get new balloons from the discard pile. Once Peggy popped all balloons of one player, the remaining players add up their cards: Whoever has the highest value left, wins the game.
Peggy Porcupine is a fun, fast game with an adorably clumsy protagonist that brings the turbulent party to the game table. Since Peggy can strike everyone at any time, all players are always at the edge of their seat.

Cats love treats, but these kitties are a bit picky: they only like certain colours. In The Cat’s Meow, the players want to give the right treats to each cat, but they only get to see their colour at the beginning of their turn, then the treats are turned face-down. By shaking the box, a player now feeds each cat. If another player thinks that a cat got the wrong treat, the treats are revealed. If every treat landed in the bowl of the right cat, the active player collects them as points. However, if one of the cats got a wrong colour, the player who called it receives the treats as a reward. Whoever collects the most treats, wins.
The Cat’s Meow cleverly includes the box into the gameplay. Shaking the box is challenging as well as entertaining. Thanks to the doubt-mechanism all players are involved all the time, requiring good skills of observation from each of them.

Ok, don’t panic now, but there are monsters under your bed, you’re sure of it, you have definitely seen them. But wait: How many were there? And which colour were they? And weren’t there some teddy bears as well? In Good Night Monster! each round the players roll 6 dice, showing monsters and teddy bears in three different colours. All players have to pay close attention, because next the dice are covered by the box lid and a challenge card is flipped, asking for example how many green monsters there were. All players secretly tip and – if they are correct – move one step closer towards the light switch. Whoever reaches it first and turns on the light, wins the game.
In Good Night Monster! all players are always involved. The originally themed training and test for attention and short-term memory is both challenging and entertaining – not only for kids but also for their parents.
