Core Games
If you're interested in diving deeper into fascinating game worlds and aren't put off by slightly more complex, longer rules, then core games are just right for you.
The starting hurdle for core games is slightly higher than for family games, which is why games in this category are usually recommended for players aged 10 and up who already have some gaming experience. The average playing time is one to two hours. The special appeal of core games is their moderate mix of strategic and luck-based mechanics. While players who have already played several rounds of a core game have a slight advantage over those playing it for the first time, those whom luck favors also have a chance at victory.
