The young witches dare each other to a race up the witches’ tower. Of course they would be fastest if they used the broom – but are they even prepared to fly it? Hexenhochhaus sends the players on a turbulent race. Each turn players roll the die: while some results allow them to move forward a couple of steps and turn over any one player figure, the broom result allows them to fly the broom up to the next space showing a broom – but only if they are prepared – because the broom is magnetic and only one side of each player’s figure will be attracted. The first witch to reach the top of the tower wins. Hexenhochhaus is a fast-paced, fun race to the top of the witches’ tower. Remembering which side of the own figure is up while trying to confuse other players while hoping for a bit of luck while speeding along … nobody said winning would be easy.

A spell that went wrong has dispersed the inhabitants of Fabulantica throughout the entire land. Confused as to what has happened, the inhabitants take cover in the towers where they wait for help, since nobody knows where the others have got to. That’s up to the players to find out. At all times 3 open mission cards are pending, each requiring players to find a specific resident first and then look for their friend. To do so, players play travel cards that correspond with the four kinds of paths, to move across the board, or they use the Magic Carpet and travel to a location of their choice. The resident in each tower is revealed to all players, when their current location is visited – but if that resident was part of the active players’ mission, the resident including the tower changes their position. The player who cleverly plans their travels, remembers the residents’ locations and fulfills three mission first, wins.

With accessible rules Fabulantica challenges players from age 6 and up to make the best out of their hand cards, to pay close attention at all times so that no residents “disappear” again, and move efficiently to succeed.

A new day on the farm begins and all animals wait to be fed by the players – but only one after the other. While a task card states which animal is to be fed next, players on their turn get to reveal one of the face-down motif tiles in the hopes of matching the current task. If they don’t find the correct tile, they turn the revealed tile back face-down. But if they match the task, they get to feed the depicted animal by sticking the motif tile with the animal food into the matching slit of the “farmyard” (set up in the game box) – and while doing so they should imitate the corresponding animal sound. Then a new task is revealed. Once all tasks are fulfilled, the player who fed most animals wins. Wau Wau Muh und was machst du? Is a fun memory game for children that allows them to get to know farm animals and sounds they make along the way.

Although he should have packed for his holidays by now, Timmy did not even start packing but played carelessly and now his room is in a clutter. His parents don’t need to find out, though, because the players are here to collectively help Timmy load all his things onto him – but don’t drop anything and alarm the parents! On a turn, the active player rolls the die and adds one item of the corresponding color to the Timmy figure (set up in the game box). If at any point an item falls down or touches the ground, all players lose. If they manage to pile all items onto Timmy without dropping anything, they win and Timmy can set off on his holiday. Timmy macht Urlaub is a quick, cooperative dexterity game – small enough to join kids on their holiday, tough enough to challenge even their parents.

The long animals from Langland got mixed up and are knotted together – as the animals untangle, player’s hope that their animals will free themselves first. In Langland Lotto each player has two animal cards – a long and a short one – and hopes to collect all parts of their animals first. Each round one of the face-down animal tiles is revealed. The player whose card it matches gets to take the tile. The first player to collect two complete Langland animals wins the game. Langland Lotto is a cutely themed game of luck and an introduction of the animals from Langland to the youngest players.

In Langland Romméchildren from the age 4 and up get to know the basics of one of the most beloved card game classics ever - without card values! Instead, players try to add farm animals (cow, pig, cat, sheep, and goat) to their display. To play an animal it has to consist at least of two cards: head and tail; but it can be extended – right away or later on – by as many belly cards as the player can gather. Each player has their own playing area to collect their animals – it is not allowed to play cards into another player’s area. The first player to get rid of all their cards, wins the game. Doch der Wald ist das reinste Labyrinth und oft stehen Tiere oder Trolle im Weg. Nur wenn die Spieler zusammenarbeiten, schaffen sie es, den Trank zu brauen – ansonsten muss der König für immer ein Frosch bleiben. In Magic Maze Kids steuern die Spieler gemeinsam alle vier Helden. Dafür hat jeder Spieler eine Bewegungsrichtung, in die er die Helden bewegen kann. Damit die Figuren am Ziel ankommen, muss also jeder Spieler mitdenken und aufpassen, wann er aktiv werden muss. Wem das nicht schwer genug ist, der kann mit der Zusatzregel spielen, dass die Spieler sich nicht unterhalten dürfen.

Magic Maze Kids ist die kinderfreundliche Einsteigerversion von Magic Maze. Im Laufe von 11 Tutorials werden nach und nach alle Regeln vermittelt, um sich dann nach Herzenslust auf den vier regulären Spielplänen auszutoben.

Scouting snails have spotted more than enough plants in the farmer’s yard to feed all the snails – so they might as well have fun with it, by playing their favourite game: Curli Kuller. At the beginning, every player chooses a colour. On a turn, a player rolls the snail down a ramp into the yard, trying to knock over as many plants of their own colour as possible. Once a snail stops plowing the yard, all plants that have been knocked over are distributed to their owners – so watch out or you score for your opponents! Also, if you happen to knock over the mean old scarecrow, nobody scores this turn, instead you re-erect the scarecrow and all plants in the yard and pretend that nothing happened. Whoever gathers eight plants first, wins. Curli Kuller is a fast-paced, hilariously themed dexterity game where even clumsy players have a chance to win. Easy rules, beautiful components and the chance to score each turn keeps all players on the edge of their seats throughout the game.
