Family Fun for Everyone!

New games from Pegasus Spiele: Honey, Dice Flick and Poo Poo Pets

Friedberg, 07-16-2021: Pegasus Spiele has released three new games to entertain the little ones and the whole family: the children's game Honey, in which players collect nectar as busy little bees working to fill their honey jars, the fast-paced ‘elimination‘ dice game Poo Poo Pets, and the abstract party game Dice Flick.

In Honey, by Anna Oppolzer and Stefan Kloß, two to four players race to be the first to fill their honey jar by collecting nectar from a flower meadow. The game trains memory and attention skills in a playful way. In each turn, a die roll determines how far the honey bee flies across the meadow and into which flowers new pollen tokens are deposited, filling the flower stems up with nectar at different rates. The active player then collects nectar from a chosen flower. Listening carefully when stems gain pollen and remembering how much pollen may be in a stem is the key to picking the most productive flowers. Honey offers hours of entertainment for children ages five and up as well as the whole family. The three-dimensional game board, fully integrated into the game box, as well as the innovative concept and lovingly designed components, set Honey apart as a truly delightful game. Honey is the premier title in the new Kids Fun series from Pegasus Spiele and is now available at your friendly local game store.

The new family game Poo Poo Pets is also animal-themed. In this wild dice game, two to four players ages eight and up try to get as many animals as possible to move into their homes. Players simultaneously attempt to roll combinations of numbers that match other players‘ animal tiles. As soon as one of the players has rolled such a combination, they quickly reach into the center of the playing area and squeeze the squeaking plastic poop to stop the chaos and declare their new acqusition! But excited pets also leave behind their droppings, so the newly gained animal tile is flipped to the "little accident" side when it moves into its new home. If the animal's new combination is rolled again later in the game, the animal runs away! Instead of changing hands a second time, its tile is removed from the game. Once a player has no more pets in front of them, they are eliminated from the game. The last player with any number of pets left is the winner! Designer Sophia Wagner has designed Poo Poo Pets to be a hilarious, fast-paced gaming experience for the whole family, with more than just the kids eager to hit the squeaky pile. Also recently published by Pegasus Spiele is the dynamic dexterity game, Dice Flick. This new abstract dice game of a special kind by Rami Gaber is all about flicking your way to the win. The game arena is contained within the bottom of the game box, and players take turns flicking dice from launching points along the edge into the playing field. Points are collected for specific dice combinations inside the arena, i.e. at least three adjacent dice of one color. Skillful targeting can take further advantage of specially marked spots on the playing field to gain additional bonuses. A glittering firecracker die immediately grants extra points and puts the player who managed to score them a little closer to victory. Dice Flick, for two to four players ages eight and up, takes only minutes to set up and explain. Making it a great entry-level experience for new players, and a perfect filler for family game nights.
