Pegasus Spiele adds new titles to the Talisman universe in 2020
Friedberg, 01-10-2020: After the release of the Talisman Revised 4th edition and the first expansion wave of five titles, Pegasus Spiele will also publish the remaining expansions in 2020. Furthermore, the Talisman Adventures Fantasy Roleplaying Game will be released later this year. The Talisman Adventures Fantasy RPG Playtest Guide and a follow-up adventure, Toads and Diamonds are already available to give players a preview of the game.
Since 1983 Talisman, the family-friendly fantasy board game with role-playing elements has fascinated gamers worldwide. Under the license of Games Workshop, Pegasus Spiele has released the fourth edition of the base game as well as six of 13 expansions in 2019. At the beginning of 2020, the remaining expansions will follow: The Dragon, The Blood Moon, The City, The Firelands, The Woodland, The Harbinger and The Cataclysm.
Furthermore, the Talisman Adventures Fantasy Roleplaying Game will be released in 2020. It will allow players to experience the world of Talisman in completely new ways and create their own adventures. The already published Talisman Adventures Fantasy RPG Playtest Guide gives a taste of the pen&paper RPG and contains everything to play and run the game up to the third level. The Playtest Guide features six ancestries and nine classes from which players can choose. It also contains the core rules of play, six starting characters, and an adventure so players can start their adventure immediately.
The recently released Toads and Diamonds, by Pegasus Spiele, is another adventure for use with the Playtest Guide. It contains an adventure suitable for characters of the second and third level and adds new monsters, spells and magic items as well as expanded rules for traps and environmental hazards. The heroes must discover the cause of a curse in the mining town of Dewberry which has transformed the miners to toads.
