Birmingham, it’s Convention Time!

Pegasus Spiele at the UK Games Expo 2024

Friedberg, May 29, 2024: At UK Games Expo from May 31 until June 2, visitors can try out and purchase Pegasus Spiele’s newest games. Come to the booth 2-105 and learn about the children’s game Zilence, family games Dorfromantik: The Duel, Port Royal – Dice Game, Lumicora, and many more.

Since its first show in 2007, the annual UK Games Expo (UKGE) has grown to become the largest Tabletop Game Convention in the UK. This year it is held at the NEC Birmingham from May 31 through June 2 (Friday & Saturday 9am-12pm, Sunday 9am-4pm). At Pegasus Spiele booth 2-105, visitors can play the newest games from their catalogue, such as Zilence, Dorfromantik: The Duel, Port Royal – Dice Game, Lumicora and more.

In Zilence by Sophia Wagner, players ages six and up race to collect items that will help them survive a zombie apocalypse. Each round they must choose—after twenty seconds of scanning three potential routes with their eyes—a single path along which they hope to find as many required items as possible.

After the great success of the cooperative Dorfromantik – The Board Game, two players or two teams compete in Dorfromantik – The Duel by Lukas Zach and Michael Palm. By cleverly placing tiles in more advantageous ways than their opponent(s), players create a beautiful landscape and can gain points for tasks in this competitive version of the game.

The newest addition to the world of Port Royal is the standalone Port Royal – The Dice Game by Alexander Pfister, a roll and write where players push their luck every cast of the dice. Players will mark off their route on a map, chasing the same goals as in the original Caribbean classic: hire the most capable crew and loot the greatest treasures.

Rebuild the the vital habitats of colourful, luminescent coral reefs in the three-dimensional tile placement game Lumicora by Rita Modl. This biome has suffered a sharp decline in recent decades, so players are tasked with rebuilding it and attracting diverse sea life to return.

More information about the convention can be found on the UKGE website.
