Release the Monsters!

Pegasus Spiele's Doodle Dungeon takes the fun underground

Friedberg, 06-02-2021: With Doodle Dungeon, Pegasus Spiele has published a new light game with a mix of many different mechanics. As dungeon masters, players first build their own dungeon and then defend it against a marauding hero. Doodle Dungeon is available in stores now.

In Doodle Dungeon, two to four dungeon masters aged ten and up equip their newly acquired, but sadly empty, dungeon with sinister walls, fiendish traps, and dangerous monsters to defend their hidden treasures against a thieving hero. To do this, players first select cards and draw the elements depicted on them on their blank dungeon map. After that, another player traces a path a hero takes through that dungeon. Players then use the cards selected earlier to improve their monsters against the hero in their dungeon, or to aid the heroes in the dungeons of rival players. The goal is to keep the hero in your own dungeon from escaping with the least amout of treasure while doing your best to help heroes in other dungeons to steal as much treasure as possible.

With Doodle Dungeon, designer Ulrich Blum has created an extraordinary game with a varity of elements, from drafting cards to dungeon building to exciting dice combat. The hilarious artwork by Munchkin artist John Kovalic, as well as additional material, such as pencils and sharpener, eraser, and four official dungeon templates for easy drawing of the monsters, round off the complete game experience.
